will the system try and send the same advert to a device once it has already recieved it, for example if someone passes by, receives the advert then passes by again later on will they get a prompt to re download the advert?

cant get program down load

with regard to my previous question, once the advert to be sent is changed, can the devices which had recieved the old advert then be allowed to download the new item. I work at a cinema and we would like to let customers download performance information, but of course this changes weekly.

been getting multiple “freezing” followed by “ad2hand has encountered a problem . . . ”

running on a samsung nc10 notebook windows xp

Same problem. The software when it tries to load I get a popup saying that it has encountered a problem. I have yet been able to get the software to work. Please Help!!!!!

Dear Mr/mrs,

I download your software, but it is impossible to install it.
When i click on the setup.exe, Microsoft windows shows me the message “Ad2hand, don’t work anymore”.
I am using Vista and it is total updated. I have also the good .net version.

What can be the problem??

Hi,
I downloaded & installed Ad2hand on my notebook about 3 months ago but never got it working.
I have come back to it to try again but still failed.
I have a advent notebook running XP, SP3.
I have uninstalled & reinstalled .net 3.5 via your link.
I have bought a Parani UD100 dongle.
When I try & start Ad2hand a white box opens up with the ad2hand logo for a few seconds and is then replaced by a error message saying ‘ Ad2hand has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.’ It than has some text about sending an error report (which I do).
I have tried and tried everything I can think of but have to admit defeat and ask for help.
Any ideas would be great!

I have sure .Net version 3.5 and installed all the drivers.

I try to install your software allso on a other computer with all the right specifications, same problem.

I try a other softwrare from BleuTorrent 5 and Fexax, this is function 100% oke.

What can be the problem?

Hi, is there any way to send the file without having to agree to pairing with every device. Is there any auto agree to pairing option?

Is it possible to get the software to start broadcasting when Windows starts up?

I know I can get the software to open by putting a shortcut in the startup folder, but I can’t find a way to get the software to Start broadcasting when it opens.

hi, i also get the same above errors.

i followed your instructions on which dongle, the same antenna and where to buy from but it wasnt until i installed the toshiba drivers that come with the dongle that the software stopped working.

im unsure on how to remove the toshiba drivers, but im sure ill work it out, but i would put a note in your instructions not to install the drivers that come with the dongle!

update, by removing the specific toshiba drivers from the add/remove panel windows reverts to its standard drivers, and ad2hand works again!

do you have any info on the quality of the signal / distance that you get from using the standard windows drivers compared to the toshiba ones?

As a non-profit organization, we (myclimate) realized a climate audio trail around the New Monte Rosa Hut in the Swiss Alps above Zermatt. For visiting, the customers can hire audio devices or can use a computer station for downloading the tracks on their own players/cell phones. The trail consists of 9 different tracks and is available in three languages. Information are awailable on http://www.climateaudiotrail.ch.

For this procedure we try to realize a Bluetooth opportunity and saw your product. Now I do have 2 questions:

1. How can we manage, that an English customer can receive English tracks and a German speaker receive German tracks, etc.? Can campaigns in Ad2Hand be started when a customer chooses a language?

2. How do we manage to send 9 different tracks by one campaign?

I’m having the sameproblem as every one else, re-loading program, please fix download.

I’ve tried to install, with same problems as detailed above.

This software doesn’t work with Windows XP/Vista/7 x64. See http://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/details/123311/win-xp-x64-jet-v4-0 for more information about the error I get.

I think there is no work around for this problem. Maybe this can be changed?

I always seem to get a “timed out” error on anything I try and send out. I have windows Bluetooth and the integrated Bluetooth. I’ve looked at settings but nothing is jumping out at me.

The images I’ve tried to send are 5kb and 80kb.

I have sorted out all other devices that does not receive anyway…

I find that it is NOT very many ‘OK, Final’s for the number of deviced found. What does your experience say, – is this the normal picture?

When observing the program running, it seems that a lot of devices found gets a timeout of 20 sec. very quickly – in less than 20 sec… – is there a way to set the timeout time for the program?

Also I have some trouble to get the programm to remember the selected file for the camapign. If not selected everytime at startup, the programm reverts to send some ‘ad2hand.gif’ instead… – also, is it possible to send more than one file to the devices, in one ‘session’?

Lastly – is it possible to get a copy of the source code for further own development?

How many connections can simultaneously established using this software and a normal bluetooth dongle. If just one, then which devices can be used to establish more than one connections simultaneously.

HOW DO U SEND A AD I CANT GET IT TO WORK

Good Afternoon.
We have been running test on your software for a while now. We have the advanced ariels etc in place now. Sotware is working almost perfect, but we are coming across one major glitch. We are sending out a very basic HTML file, everything works great execpt no matter what path sourse for images we use in the code we are unable to get things like logo’s or banners to display. Could you please advise if we are missing anything, I understand that knowing me it is something so basic.

With regard to some of your above posts, we update our files daily to ensure all local bluetooth users recieve our file as often as possible, in order to over come the database detecting devices that have recieved the file previously, we have simply added the relevant date to end of the file name. The devices therefore think it is a new file. Hope this helps you out guys.

first let me compliment you on such a great job crating this , works great,

however if like to ask if you can add 2 new features ?

1- Scheduling = Schedule a campaing to be sent certain times ?
2- multiple files can be added … so its 1 campaign, starts at 5:00PM -12:00AM, next one runs as 7:00am-12:00pm

so the multiple files have a schedule ?
